Wedding & Event FAQ
Up to how many guests can you accommodate?
The ballroom can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on configuration, but can be used for groups as small as 50 people and up. We’ve hosted small weddings of 75 people, and large weddings for 200 people and above. For smaller groups of 10-50 people, the mezzanine and speakeasy are ideal venues, and can be combined or used separately.
Can I reserve the entire distillery?
Absolutely! We can accommodate full venue buyouts for weddings or corporate events.
Do you provide food?
Do we ever! We have a fully equipped kitchen and culinary staff to provide a complete range of food options ranging from appetizers to buffet style to formal plated service.
Do you provide drinks?
As a distillery, drinks are our specialty! We can provide a complete range of beverages for your event, including cocktails, champagne, beer, wine, and an assortment of non-alcoholic drinks as well.
Can we make our own signature drink?
Definitely. We’ll work with you to come up with one or more unique cocktails designed and named specifically for your special occasion. Bring your ideas or let our cocktail specialists provide you with suggestions - we have no shortage of creative ideas.
Can we work with outside caterers?
Because we have our own on-site catering kitchen and staff capable of providing a complete range of options, from appetizers to buffet-style to plated meals, we do not allow outside catering at this time.
Do you provide florals or do you work with outside florists?
Absolutely. We can work with your wedding or event florist of choice or provide recommendations of tried and true vendors with whom we’ve worked in the past.
Do you organize the event or do we need to hire an event planner?
While we are most certainly on hand and ready to help make your event a success, we do not provide dedicated event planning services per se. If you require event or wedding planning services, however, we can connect you with some great local options.
Do you have a DJ or list of recommended DJs?
We do not have a resident event or wedding DJ, but can certainly provide you with options of folks with whom we’ve worked in the past.
Can we have live music?
You can absolutely have live music. The acoustics of the ballroom are second to none, and are ideal for live musical performances.
Can you add a distillery tour to my event?
Most certainly. This is a fun feature that we’ve incorporated into many corporate events, celebrations, and large and small weddings in the past. Our immersive distillery tour is the top-rated “to do” activity in Bellingham according to Tripadvisor and we can adapt it in terms of duration and focus to suit your needs.
What days are we able to reserve the space?
Events can be held any day of the week and any time of year, depending on availability.
Do you have audio/visual equipment available to use?
We have corded and cordless microphones and speakers, as well as a projector that are available for use for your event.
Is there a dance floor?
Yes, there is ample room for dancing in our ballroom event space for dancing!
Is there an elevated stage?
There is a beautifully ornate hardwood “murphy bed” style stage which can be mechanically lowered for use or raised up if not needed. The dimensions of the stage are 16 feet, 2 inches x 9 feet, 5 inches.
Are there dedicated spaces for the bride and groom to change and prepare before the wedding ceremony?
Definitely! We have a beautiful “speakeasy” room for the bridal party to relax and prepare for the big event, complete with private bathroom, large mirror, tables, couches, TV, and plenty of room.
Can we reserve the rooftop bar for our event?
Most definitely. Depending on availability, the rooftop bar can be reserved as an add-on to any of the other spaces, or as your sole event venue.
